Extended Season?

Public transport not good enough for you lot? ;)

No, coming from a little island Public transport that actually works would be new to us. Trains scare us as well, as only Alderney has one. http://www.alderneyrailway.com/

Why don't you invest in some rickshaws - would also help for training as well :P

I can't see a need for the season to be extended, I've known far worse winters

It makes Eric's decision NOT to give clubs games on Saturday 12th January look rather short sighted. We all knew this weather was coming and when we asked for a game on that day he flat out refused and offered no reasonable explanation for it either.

We've also had 7 free midweeks before Xmas, we shouldn't even be looking at a fixture back log.

Does seem a bit strange especially as the are midweek games being scheduled at the moment, however all of the sharing teams have their couterparts at home & it looks like all fixtures have dates schuled in at the moment for the rest of the season.

Ampthill - reserves are at home

Aylesbury - Leighton Town at home

Berkhamsted - reserves at home (Tring Athletic res)

Dunstable Town - AFC Dunstable are at home

Hadley - Potters Bar at home

Haringey - Haringey & Waltham Development at home

Hatfield - Codicote at home

London Colney - reserves at home

This is how the 'lack of games' on Saturday 12th January was explained to me............
