Luckily had left it to the very last minute and hadn't left, gotta feel for Enfield though!

 

And Ampthill of course after all their hours work!

I need to leave at 2.15pm'ish - getting my long john's on now............

Long johns on, set the SatNav, one last check and bingo - it's off!!

 

It's taken far longer to get everything back off as the enthusiasm had gone!!

 

If the game is re-arranged for next Saturday, I'll be back doing what I normally do, so won't be able to make it - shame!!

 

The 'perfect' pitches of the Premiership have a lot to answer for!!

Game off.

Ref called it off at gone 2pm coz its a bit boggy, trust me I've seen a lot worse, a lot worse.

No danger to any player, joke really

 

Feel for you....think all these early inspections should be stopped as going by the percentage of wuss match refs who call games off it is a waste of time

 

 

time to stop match expenses being paid to officials on games called off imo

When I've got a minute I might post thoughts. Nothing to do with anyone from Ampthill, nothing to do with the hours I put in, an honest opinion of how pathetic this politically correct this game has now become.

If I do post my thoughts, any fines, any bans, then I'll do my punishment, if you can justify them.

I love this game, just hate the t***s who think they're bigger than the game itself

A great day for the club today i really enjoyed the game also it was great to see M.Buckley come of the bench today and score.

 

Sorry to hear Ampthill Towns game got called off.

 

Our pitch was very bogey in places today but well playable and we did play some very good football today on a difficult pitch.

 

In Duffy we trust!
