Does anybody when a decision on the Ampthill FA Vase game is likely to be made?

 

They are working through the night by the sounds of it - so probably tomorrow before the game

Latest update at 5pm, 3 quarters of pitch has been cleared and is soft underneath.

Floodlights are on, and given we've only had about 15 people here we've done well.

Know they forecast snow but we are giving this a real shot.

More updates when we've cleared another square foot LOL

I think if you get this game on there will be a really good crowd. As not many games will go ahead, advertise on the forums to get more. Good luck.

We are just a couple of hours away from the snow having been removed.

Only had at best 15 helpers which is pain staking on those here, I've done 11 hours and am dead, the game best go ahead or I'll cry.

Guess we will know 100% tomorrow, if it warns up and the fresh snow stays away then would be nice to get a good crowd, and of course a win

Yep the pitch is playable right now it all depends on how much rain we have over night im told any rain will be gone by 6AM.
