tonights essex senior cup tie between waltham abbey and southend game been postponed after a 1 o.clock inspection , as this was the 3rd attempt to stage the game it could well now be switch to roots hall , but this could now of course delay the dates that the semi final v hornchurch was supposed to be staged by

Essex FA don't like us, we're too common for them and we're really from east London anyway. Surprised they let us into their illustrious cmpetition.

It's said the smaller the competition the bigger the trophy and the ESC pot is pretty big.

However, having said all that it was a great night at Roots Hall when we beat Great Wakering.So I don't really know where I stand...should have been a manager.

Consensus is we are putting back the snow we cleared last night, only did it for the exercise and create some obstacles for the athletics club people.

Southend do not have a game on Tuesday.

They play every Tuesday in February.

waltham abbey have only played 2 home games since november they have serious problems with the pitch so yh so holding the tie next tuesday at roots hall could be what happpens

Waltham Abbey will be making another attempt to stage the southend match on tuesday the 29th jan .... but as the weather forcast for tuesday is looking poor with plenty of rain around could well be that this 4th attempt will be called off too
