Will be interesting to see if the style of play changes with Craig, and how the players react, hope he does well, won't be easy to please all the players all of the time, and they should all be grown up enough to accept his decisions like them or not.

"Danny Hockton". At last, a coach who understands forward play. Bring the boss along for a visit Danny. Would love to see him again.

Not that anyone cares two hoots;but just to add my belated thoughts:

Having posted earlier in the week that hope club do not appoint a young manager and a player manager-we get TEMPORARILY a young player manager !!!

That given,i take it all back-never saw this coming-and on proper reflection seems a superb appointment.

CH to be congratulated for stepping forward-and above all-the club acting swiftly.

Whilst public displays of 'passion' do not make anyone necessarily better than anyone else, craig certainly has that passion on display for all to see,and i suspect -complete respect from his peers;so this is really good .

Again, upon reflection-i feel things were maybe stalling slightly-and whilst i love CK to bits-and think in terms of man management qualities better than most-thats what experience brings;it could just be that medium term its a good thing and this will add additional stimulus and momentum to the season.

Not too worried about results-as play-offs not essential this season-just want to see continuityand slow and steady progress.

Makes the second half of the season interesting all over again,as it was stalling for all sorts of reasons-not just the weather.

Should add 40 to the attendance on saturday as well.

(wonder who will be in goal on tuesday-as surely that is Craigs one opportunity to watch from the sidelines.

Thats me giving too hoots Michael, your input is always good to read even if, sometimes, I disagree.

I am really looking forward to seeing the new management team in action too, as others have said.
