Of the away teams that have had games postponed who could host a home game?

 

Egham - possibly

Wembley - no. Hendon were due at home. That was postponed.

Chessington - no. Epsom Athletic were due there today. I haven't heard but I assume that's postponed.

Colliers Wood / Horley - no.

Croydon - no. AFC were due at home and that's been postponed.

 

Banstead - possibly but, being as it's always freezing there I suspect that may still be snowbound.

CB Hounslow - possibly.

Cobham - no. MVSCR are playing.

Worcester Park - no. their reserves are playing.

Warlingham - no. Whyteleafe are currently clearing the pitch for their game.

Knaphill - no. Their reserve's game is off.

 

So there could have been one or two re-arrangements at the most. Not much point.

The directive was that Clubs MUST abide by the rules this week, and use an official referee if the appointed match official requested.

 

The earliset we could get a referee to inspect was at 10:00hrs today, hence a 10:15 postponement.

 

We knew at 18:00 hrs yesterday that the game was a non-starter, but stuck to the rules and regulations.

Are you insinuating favouritism? What about Hanworth Villa? Bear in mind they were playing in FA competitions so outside the scope of the CCL and not messing around with league games. And their potential re-arranged games were subject to the same rules. Pitch inspection, if needed, this morning.

If other teams had contacted the league and some potential opponents a couple of days ago they may have been able to re-arrange a game today but, as I said, there aren't many pitches available for them to play on.

Plus, teams have limited choice of opponents with half of them playing and half already played. Can you come up with some possible fixtures for today that could have been hastily arranged?
