Despite a slight thaw today still between 1 and 2 inches of snow on the pitch. Temperatures not now expected to get much above zero for the rest of the week. Thaw comes on Saturday but sadly it looks as if it will be too late...but that's a long way off so who knows.

Don't know....but if the snow is cleared, then I think there is every chance the game will go ahead. Miniscule amount compared to the 100 yards we cleared last time.

 

key thing will be to get it moved before the thaw.

 

It needs doing, but not sure I can give help day times (feeling guilty), but I can do eveings

 

I am enquiring about a mini tractor with snow plough attchment to push the snow, but I've not heard back yet. so nothing may come of that

Well when we left at ten it started snowing again but yes plough on again tomorrow! I'll be here half 7 again, maybe some earlier goers....we need it!!!!

That was a kick in the nuts when that lot started coming down again! To stand any chance (this is just my opinion), then it will need a huge turnout of people tomorrow night to clear the rest of the pitch of snow. 6pm onwards.

Don't forget we have a game on Tuesday v Eastbourne Borough so any help with the pitch would give us much needed back to back home games.

To be honest, the forecast is for more snow Friday evening, followed by heavy rain.

We still need to clear the pitch regardless of the forecast. We need as many people as possible turning up to help out. Might be an idea to get some of the players out there also. A couple & the manager helped last time.

In addition to Thursday night, people needed for Friday morning 9am onwards. Any snow shovels/barrows you can bring would be great.

 

A few pointers. Snow is relatively easy to take off. Don't walk on fresh snow, it'll make life easier if you stay off!
