With any luck Ampthill get Guernsey! Is there away support as good as home?

Not really, at home crowds in the four figure mark, however away games are normally featured on Guernsey TV (think it costs around £3 per match to view)

However, given the significant number of SSMFL postponements, how many would have been at Ampthill yesterday? Two hundred plus?

Find that hard to believe since Whitley Bay had won the Vase for the last three seasons

 

3 out of 4.....Dunston won it last season

 

Also Spennymoor won the northern league last season and look likely to do so again this season

Spennymoor leading the league Whitley in though last time I looked Whitley were little off the pace in 4th

Think Ampthil would have been looking at a gate of at least 300 given the lack of football on we were saying that we thought 400+ we heard a lot of SSML and neutrals were going. Real shame.

Summit we'll now never know WB eh?

Fact is two Refs spoken to at the game said they'd have played it....but the decision was obviously down to The one who didn't deem it playable.

Given there was still 50mins to kick off and the fact he must've know the effort put in to get it played, surprised he didn't say bit of sand on here boys and we'll give it a go.

Obviously got to try and play it this weekend, in front of a passer by and his dog, oh well LOL

Guernsey really wine and dine away Club's, putting even Haringey Borough's hospitality to shame, and lay on a Coach to and from the airport so Ampthill Town will be in for a trip of a lifetime if, in the unlikely event, they are drawn there in the Sixth Round.

Gutted for you guys. You never know depends on what games make it next week maybe neutrals will and ground hoppers will make the trip again
