Midweek Prospects?

There is some glimmer of hope on the horizon.

 

RH4 forecast for the next 6 days, is warming up to a staggering minimum of 10 degrees by next monday.

 

There is no truth in the rumour that a yeti was spotted walking over the Meadowbank pitch.

 

It turned out to be our kit man !

I'd sooner have rain than snow and ice.

 

It won't make a lot of difference when it does get warm - pitches with bad drainage are going to suffer for several days yet, and that DOES include Meadowbank !

Just returned from our trusty local corner shop, and my trusty thermometer, (in the icy breeze), recorded a chill factor of - 3.5 degrees !

 

Roads gritted but the paths were sheets of ice !

Heavy snowfall again now in Camberley.....think we'll have another complete white-out again this weekend....wander if pitches will be playable the following week at this rate!! Half a season (more for some) to fit into just 3 months.....could be very interesting.
