Whitley Bay
With overnight 'Lows' below zero, and daytime 'Highs' of no more than two degrees, I doubt if many, if any, of these will be played.

Karen Browne
From Eric Harrison (SSML Fixture Secretary) Colleagues The weather appears to continue to frustrate our football programme with continue snow showers. Here in Flitwick, mid Bedfordshire, it’s been snowing since 9.30 am and there seems to be no let up. Any home club that are of the opinion that it is not possible for a game to be played this midweek, you must inform me, the match officials and the away team, that the game is postponed. Do not inform Jim Bean. Telephone calls and / or emails must be made to me by 7.00 pm, Monday 21st January. If not made by this time, I will consider that you are of the opinion that a game may be played and that you will be requesting an inspection by a referee as detailed on page 12 of this years handbook. Obviously this only applies to SSML fixtures and not County Cup ties.
Winslow Boy
Oh dear this plays right into the home teams hands who all must have injuries and suspensions and has nothing to do with the pitches being unplayable and more importantly the treacherous travelling conditions especially after the game. Yours sincerely, Rhodes.....
Rhodes
Winslow Boy - I think my comments were mis-understood, if Club's are given a free rein by the League to do exactly as they please then it's open to abuse isn't it, there's always somebody who will see an opportunity to take advantage of a situation

tringarmy
Watford and Brentford were among the pro clubs asking for volunteers to help clear the pitches to get yesterday's games on. Brentford had 200 turn up and it took them 2hours to do it.
