Slough Nightlife

FSB

Recommended Posts

I'm staying overnight in Slough tomorrow with my Missus.

Staying at the Holiday Inn eating at the Kashmiri Karai.

Can anyone recommend and decent pubs (not spit and sawdust types). Something a bit lively, Music, live or DJ.

Cheers

Yeah, we're going to a Pub called the Hand in the Flower in Marlow for lunch on Sunday so we thought we would travel over that way on Saturday and stay the night.

I had to attend a three day course in Slough, (2 nights hotel stay), some years ago.

I wasn't impressed with the town at all, though I'm sure some Slough FC supporters will find this thread and advise you differently !

Spot on Brunty I was born and bred in Slough, with still a couple of friends who live there, none of us would go for a night out in the town and always head for Windsor.

When I worked at Egham, (Runnymede), I always enjoyed a pint or light lunch at The Bells Of Ouzeley. Obviously, when it was a pub and before it became yet another theme steak-house.

Just asked a contact of mine:

Indian - Spice Route 18A Thames Street, Windsor

Pubs - Two Brewers (no children allowed) and The Greene Oak very highly recommended.

I grew up in Windsor and still spend most of my weekends there! The Two Brewers is a great little pub as has been said above. There are a couple of good pubs behind the Guildhall..The Carpenters Arms is my favourite. If you want something a bit more lively there is a Weatherspoons opposite the Castle. There are a few good Indian Restaurants Spice Route, Mango Lounge are both not far from the castle or The Viceroy and Saffrons both in St Leonards Road.
