What do you do on a Saturday when you have no game out of interest

 

I'll treat it as a serious question.......

 

Spend time with the family, take my 2 boys out swimming or sledging, generally eat rubbish food and drink alcohol, so almost the same as you?

Mid season breaks and 3 G pitches all the way

My Competition play on 3G pitches and I'm close to calling games off for the whole of next week.

 

And we had a 2 week break over Christmas / New Year.

 

Get Mr Rhodes to sweep off all the snow of the 3G pitches for you!

Mid Season break anyone? as we are kind of having one well sort of!

The key problem with a 'winter break' is when to have it.

 

Whenever is selected Sod's Law will dictate that we have good footballing weather during the break, and a monsoon / snow either immediately before or after.

 

I vote for staying exactly as we are - however, bring back Boxing Day and New Year's Day SSMFL games!!
