Tesco Bazza
Another great reffing decision again!! Surely something has to be done with all this wasted travelling. The costs on these non league clubs or players is becoming stuipid. Could we have pools panel predict and just go with that?
SteveB
On the subject of travel expenses and decisions to abandon games, I found myself getting into a ridiculously long conversation on Twitter with someone who started off by seemingly blaming Margate for it. I should have just left it there but could not help but bite........

Could we have pools panel predict and just go with that? with weather reports so good these days surely a decision can be made a day before....any doubt don't play it.....as you rightly say Bazza it's costing money the club cannot afford...sod the league and their 'must get games played' do they pay compo for travelling etc....NO!!!!!! Eastside Urchin
Ha ha,weather reports so good!!!! They are worse at predicting the weather than they were 25 years go
Coffin Ender
Delighted with that. We were battered first half, battered worse than a black suspect in a police cell. Should have been 3-0 at half-time. Obviously nobody died in the first half and nobody would have died in the second (and I can just about recall the days of blue lines on pitches covered with snow and orange balls) but such is the modern world. Their programme said they haven't got a free midweek until mid March so hopefully it will be much warmer when we return. Incidentally the crowd was about 70 with 25 or so visitors. marksandwell
We just wasn't in the game, as I've said before either the whole team plays well or the whole team is poor. Last night it was the latter. Thank goodness we had the luck of the stoppage.
margateshot
Lets hope that with these postponments CK can the team back to winning ways. What with last night and Lowestoft we could be looking at 5 defeats in a row. Whats happened to that spark we had earlier in the season with goals coming from all areas? marksandwell
Dear League, May I suggest you start the league earlier, schedule a few more games in on Tuesday at the earlier start of the season. Oh and make the KSC a pre season/end of season tournament..
Margate Don
On the subject of travel expenses and decisions to abandon games, I found myself getting into a ridiculously long conversation on Twitter with someone who started off by seemingly blaming Margate for it. I should have just left it there but could not help but bite........ https://twitter.com/...651150346850304 Must be a troll trying to prove the old adage that all foreigners are of limited intellectual capacity (not for a moment suggesting I agree with that, I'll hasten to add) - god help the team if he really is a football club manager! michael
Thank goodness it does not matter, but as CE suggests-we were not very good-lost count of number of corners against us in first half-but to be fair-they never looked like scoring from them-as all floaty corners-easily defended. there goal from a hesitation in defence which CH then made a hash of clearing straight to tait. all nerves from defenders and keeper, but despite their dominance-MP never really looked like scoring otherwise-just that error. midfield just never got into it-stubbs,avery and corneille were not having one of their better nights-and most of the time when we had limited possession-we gave it away-and were not picking up the losse balls in midfield- That given-earlier on CH made a stunning save to keep the score at nil nil early on. A bit more lively in the very short second half-but overall-glad it was abandonned, and we live to fight another day. I think CH 'encouraged' the ref to abandon the game when one of our defenders went down injured in the penalty area.to be fair-there was nervousness about that frozen goalmouth at start of game-and i think CH just helped nudge the ref into his correct decision- . My first visit to that ground-nice ground-decent floodlights-so always useful for those of us with fading eyesight in the dark, nescafe coffee . probably wont make the revised fixture this season-but look forward to going back there next season ! Glove watch-sam long and the referee!,whist michael alaille braved it in short sleeves
