Windsor Rebel
Is there any way we can get rid of this Hotspur idiot? A lot of us regulars are getting fed up of his constant bullshit and sniping. The guy is a total loser.
Sue
After his last post on the Kyle thread I too have had enough of his rude and sometimes quite offensive replies. So, while this carries on I will no longer be posting on here unless its to do with the club shop and if there is anything you need to know relating to the shop please ask and I will of course answer you. grandad
A forum should always be a place for the exchange of news, information, and for airing opinions. I do not advocate "banning" someone for holding a contrary opinion to me, however, deluded I may think that their opinion is. The constant slagging off of anyone who is younger than the poster for not having enough football knowledge is tedious but not offensive. The use of offensive language is also not be used. Whilst I agree that a certain poster is getting boring, in my opinion, he is a pussycat compared to some on the SSML section. I am not condoning his answers, just saying... HorshamRebel
Bored now. Getting absolutely sick of seeing a snipe in every post...including your next one at me for putting this view across. No doubt
missunderstood
Seems rather hypocritical to ask for a forum user to be "got rid of" when one of your own (burger and chips) calls someone a dirty old man, and then asks if he has any links with Jmmy Saville on the Mansfield v Liverpool thread. All the other guy did was make a perfectly innocent post about the lady who was interviewed after the match.

Nathan
Different forum, different circumstances missunderstood! Rhodes was attempting to play down the significance (albeit in jest, I do hope!) of the game for Mansfield, and was suggesting it was all about Carolyn Radford, hence the accusation "dirty old man". http://www.nonleague.co.uk/topic/174702-mansfield-v-liverpool-fa-cup/#entry1872551 Getting back on topic, I do believe we've had this discussion before, and my views haven't changed. People should NOT be banned purely for making stupid or childish comments!

Sir Rebel1965
I will have my opinon then, and that is that hotspur should have his IP address and email address checked by the moderators and see who he is, if he can then justify calling himself a Slough Town fan, or if he is just an imposter causing trouble. As for the comment for the Mansfield v Liverpool thread it was clearly implying a sexual overtone. And people from Romford should mind there own business - missunderstood are you hotspur, you are quick to come to his defence?

Clive - he won't ever declare his identity. Just read the hilarious bet thread and see how he's reneged on his own bet and tried to change it, solely because he wants to retain anonymity. The last time I witnessed as much backpedaling was when I had Bradley Wiggins's Olympic time trial on fast rewind! I vote he stays!!
Sir Rebel1965
Ian you are correct - and as can be seen I have changed my display name to my real name as I dont need to hide behind a alias like hotspur - what does he have to hide?
Rebel Kay
Alternatively, if you all stop responding to him and ignore him, he might just get bored. Even my kids can't have an arguement by themselves.

Martin
Just FYI, I believe it is still possible in your settings to block certain users so you don't see anymore of their posts.

Stuntman Mark
I don’t think hotspur has done anything that warrants banning. I find his opinions generally quite tedious and often ridiculous but easy enough to ignore. I think if others denied him the oxygen of attention I’m sure he’d soon give up voluntarily, however his thread ‘proof’ remains the most popular on the page. The whole betting thing is playground stuff and quite embarrassing to read for someone who likes to pop on here and read about/ discuss football with fellow Rebels fans. Indeed, Mark, although sometimes the best way to shut ‘playground bullies’ up is to confront them. As the person involved has declined repeated opportunities to follow through with the terms of the bet he proposed I would imagine that’s an end to the matter. So that's clear then your pulling out of the bet, same as the other geezer did last Saturday. As for confronting me in person how does that change your reluctance to bet ?
