Windsor v Chessington & Hook tonight [Monday 14th]

Recommended Posts

Yep. Chessington deserved the win. Windsor couldn't get going, found it very difficult to string much together. Not helped by Harris not available (out for a few weeks I was told, not sure of the accuracy of that though) and Jamie Wright going off after 10 minutes.

Can't believe Chessington will stay down there if they can keep that squad together.

Agree with the above - C&H deserved the win, played very well & took their chances. I've seen Windsor alot this season, and they had 'off night' - they had most of the possession especially 2nd half, but didn't do much with it

C&H deserved their win, right from the off they were determined pressed the ball well and never let us get in our stride. All three goals were well taken and if the referee had pointed to the spot for us rather than giving a free kick on the edge of the box it may of changed the course of the game but it didn't. It was in the box!!!!! Thought Harry looked lively when he came on looks a decent prospect for someone so young, anyone else like to see Dan hicks in midfield more often?? Think he could really drive us on with those marauding runs we saw tonight. Another big game Sat one thing we have done is bounce back after being beaten hoping this is the case once again!!

My goodness me, what a fantastic chomp!!! Amazing stuff!!

Your cat got run over or something?

People make comments and its always too easy to say Chomp after the event...whatever tickles your fancy. at least I got my point over that you are a moron.

Thank you Windsor Sec for kindly keeping me/us all informed that at 6.55pm the game was ON so that allowed me sufficient time to get to the game. Thats all I was asking until you stuck your nose in something which had nothing to do with you....

Oh dear. Is this outright hostility because I've stopped responding to your £65,000 a year budget claims?

You feel spurned now don't you? I'm sorry.

Look, we had some good times last year, but I've moved on now.

I think it's for the best. I'm sure you'll agree in due course.

Truth hurts !

Can't believe such a mild poke (as the one below) upset your equilibrium so much.

Yeah Steve, every 30 minutes, just pop down to Stag Meadow so you can give BAD GUY an update. It's the least he deserves.

You're obviously not well.

1-2 final score. Well done to a workmanlike Chessington team. Not our best performance by any means. Missing your keeper and leading scorer and then losing another forward after 10 minutes didn't help matters but should still have had enough in the locker to grind out a result. Not blaming the ref for the result but he also had a bad day at the office and both teams would agree with that I think !

On the positive side we got an early chance to look at new striker Jake Lovell who looked lively and very similar in style to Ben Harris, plus two more impressive substitute appearances for Harry Pearse and Jay Kalama who may both have shown enough in the last two games to warrant a starting place this Saturday and would free-up Dan Hicks for a midfield role. A defeat may also serve to remind some that we're far from being the finished article ! Looking now for a good performance against an in-form Epsom on Saturday - bring it on !

Chessington's keeper had a nasty mouth injury after the challenge on the edge of the area with Hicks (I think).

30 mins later he was still spitting blood.

Pearce and Kalama do look class. And Lovell, although (shall we say) diminutive for a striker, looked like he had a bit of something and could integrate well, given the chance. Agree with moving Hicks into midfield - all the players in that area, although perfectly neat, are a bit similar - a bit of extra bite wouldn't go amiss.
