S let me see if I've got this right, last week at Billericay we had a geezer for one game, our first choice and a youth keeper now a couple of days later we only have the youth keeper left. Why did we need a geezer for one game anyway when our first choice was available, this club is getting more bizarre by the day

We had a geezer on loan from Wimbledon (a month's deal as I recall) he played one game and disappeared.

 

Then we had the debacle at Grays with Barry and his unfortunate and unlucky deputy from the reserves/youngsters.

Anyway. Where was I?

 

Laz is right about the close encounter at Grays. There was talk previously about a search for another goalkeeper to compete for the first choice spot with The Walrus. I see that Barry has left. he was a mate of Cookie's as I recall and maybe his departure was on the cards anyway.

 

Shane Gore from Wimbledon has gone to Barnet. I'm not sure but I believe the rule that says players on loan must be for a minimum of 28 days doesn't apply to keepers. Gore spilled one or two against Braintree as I recall.

 

Braintree. Now that reminds me of something else.

 

No doubt Steve Castle has it all in hand.
