Think I'll give it a miss.

Something so false about the Oscars.

I quite enjoy watching the BAFTA's and the TV awards.

I always give the BRITS a big miss as well.

I might watch a bit, if only for the comedy genius of Seth McFarlane.

It will be nice to see the ever green Tommy Lee Jones win Best Supporting Actor for Lincoln

That, I will agree with.

I always rated TLJ as one of the few brilliant American actors.

I'm glad that Daniel Day-Lewis got his three in a row. Not bad for a guy rejected by agents at a young age,and it shows you what can be achieved through hard work and dedication.

I have never been able to fathom out why so much adulation and money is bestowed on actors who by definition are only pretending to be someone else. Ray Winston,Micheal Caine and quite a few others can be excused though because whatever part they play they are exactly the same, which to me signifies their only recognisable talent would appear to be an ability to read from an autocue.

Isn’t that a bit harsh, how about Michael Sheen then as Brian Clough in the Damned United

The problem with that night for me however while it is live and they have a time frame to stick to, i noticed the bigger winners (Director, Film, Best Actor & Actress) had much more time to speak than the other categories. Yes i know they had to fit in all the rest of the show (such as the Chigago, Dream Girls & Le Mis singing part) but hell surly they could have cut that down by taking out Dream Girls which only had one of them there anyway.

Big props to Dame Shirley Bassey for Goldfinger and Adele for her speech, obviously she will cherish that more than a Brit now.
