Sir Rebel1965
With Burnham-hamlet putting 7 past Woodford, we should be looking for a similar score line to show that we are serious contenders for the league - it may come down to goal difference and games like this should be exploited. Ian
The score will be what the score will be. As long as everyone doesn't get on their backs if we don't score for half an hour or are only 1-0 at half-time or something similar.
PremiershipJoyRider
I think this game is a potential "banana skin" for Slough. The fact that Woodford have conceded 80 goals in only 21 games tells its own sorry story. However, teams languishing at the bottom of a league table usually manage to get a point (or three) from somewhere during the season - so lets hope it is not against us. If the Rebels take to the pitch on Saturday thinking of how "MANY" goals they are going to score it could backfire on us. I still think we have the best squad of players in this league - but unless we match the tenacity and teamwork of sides like Uxbridge we will find ourselves in the dreaded playoffs (AGAIN). Rebel Kay
Well at least we aren't walking this time, so if its off when we get there we wont be quite as upset as last time.

PremiershipJoyRider
Bit disappointed to only win 4-1 but its still 3 points. The pitch was poor which is always a great leveller. Nobody was really outstanding today but I think Dave Deeney gets my MOM for his two good goals. Godalming beat Uxbridge 4-1 AWAY to remain very convincing leaders. Don Juan DeMarcus
Congrats to deeney and smith for a pair of braces... Mom for me was a toss up between martin and swift (who I felt was a game changer) db9's work rate was superb again and he thoroughly deserved a goal IMHO. readingrebel
3 points on a cowfield is all that matters. Dave Deeney my MOTM for two well taken goals and only denied a birthday hat-trick by the Woodford goalie.
HEAVY TRUCKER
we came out in the second half as though all we had to do was stroll around then the wake up call came when they scored, then when we got another two their heads went down, they would have gone further behind except for a convincing performance by their goalkeeper. all in all though we won by a margin and got three valuable points it was at times an unconvincing performance. batesy really needs to kick some backsides to keep their work rate up for the ninety minutes, do that and we really can win this league, we have the quality just that some like to take too many tea breaks! Cookham Rebel
Wasn't there but a win is a win! Had a really in depth look at the league table last night and I am slightly worried about being 11 points off the play of zone at this point, need to pick up a minimum of 4 points against Biggleswade this week, ideally it needs to be 6 points but 4 is a minimum I think... We just need to keep going as no one is going to run away with it unless we grab it by the scruff of the neck which we are more than capable of doing... We need to move heaven and earth to keep Adam Martin until the end of the season!
HorshamRebel
That pitch was even worse than it looked from the sidelines. When I was on it taking the Woodford team photo, It was extremely sticky making it hard to walk on without studs, let alone with studs. If you stayed still for a few seconds you were stuck to that spot. To last the 90 minutes and finish with a flurry of strong attacks, shows how fit are players are. The main thing is we left with the three points we needed.
Sir Rebel1965
The condition of the pitch contributed to the number of injuries, and it is good that we have depth in the squad, other than the forwards due to Ben & Sean now out on dual reg, and Ryan with a cast - will there be a recall? Woodfords number 11 was worthy of note - very fast and looked a real handful, also some good banter with their keeper.
