Yes and I remember getting beat week in and week out and then going the Heybridge (when little Alfie made his first football appaerance) and beating them who I believe were near the top !!!

These things happen, ask any Chelsea supporter after the QPR game last week !!

Do we really need these sort of posts Hotspur, they are not good and not helpful !

Hotspur, whoever you may be

You failed to turn up with your bet money

So while we watched, the Rebels in the cup

You proved again that you won't man up!

So wrong again-I was there. But as I have told you before no need to payout or in my case collect until end of season, also as I have said if we go up my bookie pays if we dont you pay-its all so easy dealing with you " experts ".

Considering (Tottenham) Hotspur's motto is "To Dare Is To Do", he seems rather reluctant to come out from behind the keyboard!

Yet another confused fool;-Tottenham-nothing to do with my alias-my hotspur is related to the comic ( ask your grandad lol! )

I didn’t say you weren’t there – after all they don’t hold funerals or weddings on Tuesday nights. I said you failed to show up with your bet money.

You might want to check back through previous threads where YOU suggested handing money to an independent witness. There are no end of volunteers in that respect. As I have repeatedly stated, I do not make bets with fictitious forum characters. If you want to ‘man up’, show up with your money, shake hands and follow through with the bet that YOU proposed then I’ll happily do so.

If you won’t then I don’t for one moment believe it will stop you being the purveyor of doom on here, but every time you do people will read it and know they are hollow words from someone too cowardly to put their money where their mouth is.

Just out of interest what odds did you get from your bet at the bookies

Info for Horsham Rebel. I've had a few bets with Victor Chandler for STFC to win the league. I currently have £65 at 4/1 & £20 at 5/1. The odds are miserly considering the Rebels league table position so far this season.

If the Rebels do the business, I can cover my commitments to Danny (the Angel) plus the goal sponsorship plus Mrs's Riley's clothes purse. Which should leave me enough for a pint of Guinness

.

Thanks PJR those odds aren't too bad considering they will take the games in hand into consideration as well as current form.

Really interested to see what Hotspur got when he took his bet out

So pleased you are interested in my life.If it helps you get through the day I am only too pleased to answer your queery.

I placed a bet £320 to £80 to get promoted. And an even £100 with Ian that we dont. If he doesn't turn up with it when the result is final then its down to his concious.

So if I'm reading that correctly £320 to £80 is a 4/1 bet.

So as you said that you will take your money out of your bookie bet. If Ian loses he pays £100 out of his pocket and if you lose you pay 100 from a 4/1 bookie bet which I make to be the £25 stake originally out of your own pocket and £75 from your winnings.

You're on to a winner each way there.

My conscience (I'll help you with the spelling) is like the place in Marcus's pocket where your £100 would have been had you shown up......entirely clear.

I think your betting skills are a bit confused-but yes I win both ways.

Sorry about the spelling probably a result of leaving school early to earn a living. If I had met enough no nothing about football like yourself I could have been richer sooner lol ! Anyway I have had enough of your excuses,be there at end of season to pay up or admit you wont be there-bye bye.
