Rich.m
Didnt make the trip but listened to the great coverage by Eastleigh radio station. Sounds like mistake Galore and lack of spark in the final 3rd has hurt us dearly again! Remember it's our first season here and our aim is to stay in this division, massive second half of the season needed. I'll leave the rest to the great supporters that travelled down tonight! Brightside Bloke
I know some of the blues fans on the radio forum were voicing their opinions i just hope the lad's are above that. I've said this before. Craig told us when he joined he would move to club on in a few seasons. Mission accomplished. This seasons goal is to stay up. we seem to be doing that and with games in hand. Keep the faith guy's this is when we really need to be supporting the team & management.
The Mighty Blue
Sounded like a terrible performance from the radio but we can bounce back COYB
Barry Proudfoot
won't say too much but there was a distinct lack of effort tonight. It was piss poor and it pisses me off that people who didn't go to the game for whatever reason say don't be to hard on the players. when I set off on my journey to the game this evening I didn't expect us to win, what I did expect was a bit more effort. actually alot more effort. I know it's gone now but we need a team of players that want to be out there in a blue shirt. Didn't see it tonight. Onwards and upwards I suppose, still looking forward to Truro
extaffyjim
Pretty disastrous result that sees us fall into the drop zone. We need to pick up some points soon to put this run to an end, another away game to come now though. Well done to the blues fans that made the trip
jl
Confidence is obviously low right now but being one of the hardy few I felt let down by that performance. If we lose we lose but that wasn't good enough.
rich the pipe
Got to agree, was a poor performance and much improvement required
Patriot
Shocking performances across the park. Its ok for some to say dont moan etc. but when you leave your work early, spend over 4 hours driving to and from the ground, part with your hard earned money and stand in the peeing rain the very least you expect is some passion and pride for the shirt but like most who made the effort we saw neither. No need to dwell, big weekend ahead, massive improvement needed.
Sticks
Dire performance. The early loss of Anderson to injury didn't help, with some square pegs having to be put in round holes but defensively it was a shambles and up front toothless and seemingly uninterested. No goals in 3 games now and shots on target you can easily count on the fingers of one hand tells its own story. Huge game on Saturday in more one ways than one. No idea re a starting team with injuries and suspensions kicking in but an eleven who all give 100% would be a step forward on last night. COYB! Umbrella Man
Unfortunately i can only agree which has already been said was a shocker of a performance looked to me like there were people wearing the Blue shirt who wanted to be somewhere else rather than in Southampton and a wet Tuesday night. The sad thing for me was the spirit and battle that got us to where we are today was nowhere to be seen . Let's draw a line under this and hopefully the lads have a proper go this weekend. Talking of which i'm off to make some Vodka Jelly's for the trip. Big effort this weekend fella's
Paul J
You know when you have that worry bead in your head that you just cant shake? Thats how i feel this morning. 6 defeats in our last 7 games isnt good at all and by the sounds of it we need some of that fight and form back that saw us through last season. Weve got a massive couple of games coming up now and i know that if we all stick together we will pull clear of trouble. Time is still on our side but we cant take too long to get our act together or we will get cut adrift pretty quickly and dont want to have to be playing catch up. Fair play to everyone who made the trip last night. Onwards and upwards to Truro!
The Town Crier
I had a long chat with Craig this morning, and he, like us, was bitterly disappointed. If nothing else, we know Craig is straightforward, honest, and isn't afraid to make difficult decisions. Winning a league is very different to battling at the bottom, big hearts required now. I've no doubt, whatsoever, things will improve, and I will maintain my claim of a top half finish.. COYB
Patriot
You are a brave man Town Crier..... On last nights performance I would take a draw on last day of season to stay up!! However Craig is a doer (dont think thats a word but it fits) not a talker and I am sure he will be drumming it in to the boys to raise their game, Saturday being a chance to prove that. Saturday regardless of result is a massive away day for all the travelling hordes of Blues fans and if it all goes wrong I am sure Umbrella Man will have adequate supplies of Vodka jellys to see us through! Ryan.c
On the night beaten by a much better side who totally out played us. We were lacklustre to say the least. Ball retention, passing and movement were all poor. If we are to stay in this division we need to compete in every minute of every game. Our away form is appalling. That's 8 defeats in 10 games. We're a capable side but we need to get out of this mini-slump. Semakula and Poole in the middle on Saturday please. Roll on Truro!
