In cliffs defence, if you are going to moderate his posts when he criticises other clubs, you should really apply the same rules to everyone else.

 

One recent thread has two clubs slinging all kinds of mud at each other including tapping up players and personal insults and yet none of these have been edited.

 

Lets have a level playing field please moderators. Otherwise it's a witch hunt.

Point taken, it is sometimes hard to distinguish the banter from the mud slinging. In the case of the latter then the thread was locked after a complaint had been made and it would not surprise me to see the two clubs/people involved being brought before the league with regards to a disrepute charge.

 

Whilst we all have differing opinions I do not want to come down heavy handed, I have had my brief regarding Cliff's posts and basically certain topics are a no-no with him.

 

Any complaints I receive then I will act accordingly. This forum has become popular of late and should always be encouraged, long may it do so.

 

Finally on a personal note forgive me if I don't wish your first team good luck today The Hoddesdon crowd have always been most welcoming and I have enjoyed my many times at your club, both in the boardroom and the bar.

Agreed. I dont recall Rhodes wishing that a team were involved in a car crash on the M1 or taking the piss out of someone for being fat. But thats Craigy, Craig Craig Craig and it's fine......
