Well worth doing, I have pledged a sum already, hope we can all raise this without raiding MISA funds so dig deep ebay those unwanted gifts and recycle them to help. Cheers. As I see it that's only about £75 a game so one and a third games are already covered.

Up the Gate this is our year.

The right decision by LB imo-credit to him for making an early decision.Needs to establish himself in his workplace first i would have thought, and focus on that before other stuff complicates thing.the logistics and cost were surely much less of an issue and more easily overcomthan the precedent and would it work for LB if he has to settle in ,and would it have merely delayed the inevitable-best to cut loose now

I could not see this working-would it have been right for persumably LB to

have been 'excused ' from training-fit and used to play patterns as he obviously is ?

Best for both parties to move on i would have thought.

Anyway-for LB -surely there is a small near bankrupt club on his doorstep in PSG needing a great defender?

For Margate-will CK 'replace'.

Did Scarborough thus move on too quickly ?

Could Femi be re-signed?

Is another defender needed/affordable?

Inevitable really that in the next game-a defender will be sent off and another get quite a bad injury -thats the way things go.

Does it matter anyway ?-this season remains imo a mere dress rehersal for next seasons championship push and serious promotion campaign-and that this season we are merely flirting with the play-offs in readiness for an all out successful league winning campaign in 2013/14 when i expect the team to win all 42 games.

Anyway-thats for debate-au revoir to monsieur ball and thanks for the memories and quality.

Agree with Michael. great servant to the club and im sure if he comes back to england ck would have him back. I know we are pushing for promotion but as for a replacement, to save on money is there anyone in academy or reserves that could possibly step up if needed

come on mark youve been on here long enough to know that michael is the most negative person ever! im currently in australia and to be honest its still to close to a glass half full person such as him, they wouldnt tolerate his kind of attitude here and hope that, and its been mentioned on here before that the players dont follow this forum too closely otherwise they would surely wonder why they bother.

So what is negative about Michael say that next season we will win all 42 games ?

to be honest i was trying to be too clever,i was saying we wouldnt win 42 games in c/s to suggest i do expect us to be in that league next season and also at that time i didnt think they played as many as 42 {they do}. i dont think anyone could truely think we could win 42 league games next season whatever league we happen to be in, but i think what mark and i and others are saying is that promotion is very possible this season either automatically or through the play offs so as long as chris does[he does}and the players do {they do coz chris tells them they bloody can}then we can.

Could it be VPL that whilst you and others spend time debating whether the glass is half full or empty-that optimist/pessimist fluff-someone like me goes around ,takes some action as an opportunist and simply drinks the whole glass ?

all the time we stagnate in the Ryman league support will dwindle, we need promotion this year hopefully, then we take on the challenge of a ground suitable for the conference, problems for the club to solve, I do not doubt CK's ambition and I support that ambition

My head and my heart constantly fight each other over this one.

Heart wants us to win every game, and it hurts like hell when we drop points, and spoils the week (how sad).

However head says ,just not ready for bss and it would be better for it to take omne moire season to ensure it is sustainable .Slow steady and permanent progress is the best.

Just feel that all the time the ground issue is in the background;it is too much of a distraction, and takes up too much time and energy;whereas to make a go of bss, needs complete focus-let alone trhe funding of life in bss.

No use going up this season, down next and ending up worse off in 2015/16.

Don't necessarily need ground finished-just a proper start and way forward.

As stated-head and heart do constant battle-but on balance, think i'd take the absolute pain of a few losses this season, miss out on promotion,(play offs are even worse if you don't win them ) and win the league outright in 2013/14-and am deadly serious about winning every game(at least the first 35 games to give 115 points.
