dansilk
Well, that was nice to come back to. Haven't caught a game for too long, bad timing and the run-up to Xmas, so that's a fantastic transition from a load of new faces to a smooth team. I thought we looked really nice - maybe not the finished article (and the players were bound to be rusty after the break) but there was some excellent team play and generally a pleasure to watch. And two of the goals were true highlights... poor Dorking goalie, I've never seen such a perfectly executed, crisply-punched own goal as that, and judging by the moment of silence around the ground nor had anyone else. And then Ellis's fine lob from around the centre circle, that too was quality.

dansilk
Viciously dipping piledriver of a volley more like! Well, that was the goalie's view. From the side it looked like a really fine, gentle lob (OK, seriously, it was a wonderful shot. From any angle!)
