The Mayor Of Simpleton
Here's how you play: Every player will be allocated a country and a numbered jersey. That is your player for the duration of the tournament e.g. ENGLAND 15 FRANCE 8 ITALY 5 IRELAND 10 SCOTLAND 9 WALES 1 The country should be self explanatory, but in case you know nothing about the shirt positions in rugby: 1 = Loose Head Prop 2 = Hooker 3 = Tight Head Prop 4 = Lock 5 = Lock 6 = Blindside Flanker 7 = Openside Flanker 8 = Number 8 9 = Scrum Half 10 = Fly Half 11 = Left Wing 12 = Inside Centre 13 = Outside Centre 14 = Right Wing 15 = Full Back RULES 5 points awarded per try scored by your player 3 points awarded per penalty goal/drop goal scored by your player 2 points awarded per converted goal scored by your player 10 points awarded if your player is awarded the man of the match 5 points deducted per sin-binning of your player 10 points deducted if your player is sent off (red card) 25 points awarded if your player makes it into the 2013 Team of the Tournament If your player is substituted (either blood substitution or permanent substitution) the player that comes on in his position becomes your player for the rest of the duration of the match. To enter, either post below or drop me a PM. Once I have 75 entrants, I will allocate the entrants with a country and a number. The Mayor Of Simpleton
Umm, actually I am interested in the whole she-bang. Credit to Ireland and England for their wins today, and both were fantastic games. Wales need to sort themselves out though, as their losing streak is extremely embarrassing. The Mayor Of Simpleton
BUFC, nobody was interested in taking part so it's gone by the bye.
missunderstood
BUFC, nobody was interested in taking part so it's gone by the bye. I have been fitting a new kitchen, but stopped to watch the Wales game, after about ten minutes went to watch the ceiling paint dry. Much more interesting. The Mayor Of Simpleton
You aren't the only one who was tempted to turn off, Alan. Ireland tore Wales apart in the first half, but credit to Wales for a good second half. Sexton has nailed the 10 shirt for the Lions Tour, in my opinion. I find most televised sport boring, golf, cricket, motor racing and tennis being the worse.

The Mayor Of Simpleton
What a great result for Italy! 23-18 against France, the bookies favourites!
Big J R
The only 'favourites' the bookies have, are the mugs that use 'em ! I gave up the 'gee-gee's' ten years ago, though I'm still rather partial to a well cooked horse-steak ! (Not from Tesco's, I hasten to add !)
