SYCOB v Slough Town

A disappointing performance and a disappointing result, but we can't go on an endless run of winning games. These things will happen in football, but the thing that bothers me more than anything is that we seem to be making a habit of it against Beaconsfield.

That's four games in a row against Beaconsfield where we've not only not won, but didn't look like winning. Not only have we not looked like winning, but for the most part of those 4 games, we've not looked like scoring either. What is it with Beaconsfield? I can't honestly say I think they are (or ever have been) anything special! Not wanting to down Beaconsfield in any way. but that's just my honest opinion.

Considering so many below par performances from us I think a point was a very good result in the circumstances.

I think SYCOB got their tactics spot on and we didn't.

What's this with Woozie pushing up so often? to the point where he was almost playing left wing.

SYCOB got the ball forward to their front two very quickly often catching Woozie and our midfield out of position pushing too far forward hence putting our remaining back line under a lot of pressure creating quite a few chances which luckily they didn't take.

Trouble is to many below par performances-I was thinking of offering more people my bet with Ian ie:£100 says we don't make play offs-to be paid last game of season.Goldaming or Rugby look champions to me.

That bet you never showed up to shake on you mean? You went very quiet when I mentioned that I would ask Alex Brown to witness it. We were going to have it photographed and put on the website and everything!

That money for that bet with Ian was also going to the Trust, so that's money we've missed out on.

Are you people insanely thick or what ? The bet does not conclude untill the end of the season-and if at least one of you had a brain or memory you would remember that I was at a wedding that arranged day.Further more being a darn sight cleverer than you numbskulls I covered my bet at good odds that we will go up so I CANT LOSE ANYWAY--I knew full well no one would bet or pay up-god I have given you months to save up................
