HORNCHURCH BOYS BEANO TO ......?

I know it has been muted on here before,but how about an end of season BEANO to somewhere,maybe Margate as we haven't done a trip down there this season,could even see if the Margate lads fancy meeting us down there.Was thinking maybe a week or two after the end of the season? Who would be in for it?

Come on you miserable gits,lets have some more names for this.

On my latest reckoning,if we got an 8 seater,it would be a pathetic turnout but say Southend,we could get it for £15 per person,Margate would be around £25 per person

A 16 seater,still piss poor but better would cost us around £10 per person for Southend and £20 per person for Margate

A coach would work out much cheaper if we could get one,probably no more than £6 per person Southend or £10 margate

Now that sounds like a well-behaved crew so I'll go depending obviously on commitments.

But wouldn't reall want to go to Southend, or is that a wind-up? The Foresters would be good for the entertainment tho'.

Exactly,old school beanos are traditionally to margate if you are from essex but margate isn't what it used to be.

I actually think Southend is better,decent pubs and everything is close to each other,seafood and fish and chips ain't too shabby at either.

I suppose for Southend we could get a train but would be better on a minibus or coach

Spoke to the bloke who does the minibuses

 

Southend is the easiest £150 per bus return (works out £10 return)

Margate & Clacton £320 per bus as it would stay all day (£20 return)

Hastings £350 (£23approx pp)

Burnham £150 per bus return (£10 return)

 

Southend & burnham would be cheaper as they could drop us there and pick us up later,whereas the others they would stay with us all day.

Can get 2-3 minibuses.

Depends on numbers,if we can get more than 32 then a coach would be better but wouldn't be cheap for all day

There's a charity game at Burnham on the planned Saturday, that suggests to me that should be the venue (and I love it anyway, was there today for the Gordon Brasted trophy final, that's why I wasn't at the game)
