Winslow Boy
Who cares I mean surely the question that keeps us all up at night is whether Kentish still hold the 'lucrative' tea bar franchise...... The Mayor Of Simpleton
A shame that Barnet FC couldn't be accommodated there, but it looks like a good development.
Savagebee
Maybe they did Kentish Town FC a favour as these athletics grounds are not the best place in the world to watch a football match.

A.nonymous
Not much closer to the pitch at Hillingdon's ground though! Having previously played for Hillingdon Borough in the Allied Counties and played against Kentish Town away, I can safely say Hillingdon Borough is much nicer and actually more homely. What people fail to realise at Hillingdon Borough, is the pitch actually used to go the opposite way, through where there is now a wall. I know this because my old man actually played on the pitch in its very first game. Its a big ground and the pitch area itself makes the place feel bigger, as the fencing around the pitch is a good few yards from the touchline. Kentish Town on the other hand, hated that place. Awful changing rooms, a long walk to a pitch across the track to find that the pitch had craters in it from the athletics. No feel for football in the ground

I agree i have a lot of time for Hillingdon Borough FC i think is a cracking little ground always enjoy visiting the place hope to be at our away game against them on the 15th of jan. Kentish Town FC are much better off there im my opinion. What are the chances of them ever getting there own ground ? What do people think ? A.nonymous
Savagebee - Kentish Town have got their own ground, Chase Lodge Playing Fields If I'm correct I believe these are the fields out the back of Copthall. Played on those before, jesus they are awful, no clubhouse just a block of old school changing rooms with no hot water. Awful place. I also notice our away game at Hanwell has been arranged for January midweek. How is your pitch at Hanwell Savagebee seeing as Southall share at yours

A.nonymous
On a side note, how are Hillingdon Borough financially now? They have themselves playing, Broadfields United in the Middx County League playing there and now Kentish Town? And if I'm correct again, West London Academy play their school games there on a Wednesday afternoon?
