Any of you guys been watching the Darts? Have you ever been? I went the other night and I have to say it was one of the best events I've ever been too. Unbelievable women and the atmosphere is crazy!! Really recommend it!!!

Been to Cardiff and Blackpool to watch the darts, but not The Lakeside.

 

Always a great atmosphere, although Robbie Savage might disagree ;)

Been twice before which was brilliant both times. Also been to Lakeside a few times. Played against James Wade a few times in my younger years on the darts circuit and beat him a few times too.

BJR you should try it first before judging.

 

I agree the darts has been fantastic. I went to the Circus Tavern a few years ago. It was something I just felt I had to do once. Would also recommend the Crucible for the Snooker, although I did see a 147 there, which helped!

 

I am rubbish at darts, although fortunately quite good with a cue, and unless you are playing in front of a few hundred or more, you can't beat being there for atmosphere, as it is more hemmed in than at a footy game. I suppose the only real comparison might be a concert at a tiny venue, but with sport you obviously have no idea what's coming which gives it the edge in my book.

 

I'm a big Taylor fan but I think he will get beaten. Van Gerwen looks too strong.

JR darts has evolved a hell of lot since the 60s!!!!!!! I went to the premier league final when Taylor hit two 9 darters, the place erupted!!!! For me it would be an ideal team night out!!!!! I fancy Taylor to get his 16th!!!!!
