At 10.28am

Correction: This game has passed its initial inspection but is dependent on what the weather does now. Pre-match inspection at 1300 hrs -- if the rain has hit as predicted then it will be a quick one, but am trying to get the game on if possible...

Bit of confusion here, but in summary: The game is OFF now.

 

The inspecting referee reported some lying water but with the possibility of the pitch being fit at 1500 hrs.... if we had a lovely clear day. I initially was giving it the benefit of the doubt (as it was still dry...) but within 10 minutes of that, boom, the rain has hit Farnham and if that is what is going to hit Westfield.. it's not going to happen.

 

So, yes, game off now !

Officially called off at 11:15 hrs. after referee's inspection.

Before I begin my 90 minute journey to Croydon does anyone have an update on the weather in the area and is the pitch good enough to cope with more rain? Really don't fancy a wasted 3hour round trip! But could really do with playing a game of football.
