Marvels me,how most Clubs do nothing to get the water in low lying areas off the Pitch, and just wait for Mother Nature to do its job for them.Maybe this could be a repeat of 62/63 instead of Snow for 2 months,Rain,Rain,Rain.Every pitch on Purley Way is playable,so my guess is there will be action at Croydon Arena tomoz, because their Groundstaff do not sit on their Hands.

or maybe smudge half or if not more of the clubs groundsmans in the league have full time jobs.......every thought of that.............as i know i do

Dorking : Won last 2 games, scored 10 goals, 5 each against the much talked about Camberley and Croydon

So I ask myself what is this resurgence at Meadowbank ? New players I would suspect altho' I could be wrong, so I may go to see for myself.

BJR I take it thats there's vertually no chance of your game being on tomorrow ? When is the latest you would know (ie) pitch inspection, so I can plan my journey ?

I'm so very glad you asked me that, because I had a report from ground-staff this morning.

Both goal-mouth underwater and one touchline, (far side from club-house), also flooded.

Unable to get any machinery onto the pitch - far too soft, so we leave it to a referee, as proscribed by law.

Or, in other words........

After a visit to the club on my way home from work, the prospects of Ash Utd v Cove are next to non.......so many puddles all over the pitch, where there's no water so soft it makes it unsafe for players....have been told an early inspection tomorrow morning but shouldbn't take to long & to make it worse the weather forecast for tomorrow is heavy rain early morning until mid afternoon

this time i will put it on the right subject & yes i am footy mad

Pitch was fine on Weds ITK. Not sure we have had anough rain yet to worry about so providing nothing major between now and ko it should be ok.

sorry to say I cannot be there so hope to catch up soon.

Tomorrow's League games at Aldershot, Gillingham and Colchester have already been called off because of waterlogged pitches.

Reckon that sums up the CCL chances! :(
