HT, don't fret, I'm sure SYCOB, being such a well run club, realise that our Boxing day game against Burnham could be a good money earner for them (tvs need to be paid for) and have already drawn up plans to do there utmost to get the pitch ready

Nathan
1-0 up h/t through Danny Burnell against the run of play, but have been comfortable since. So far so good!

Don Juan DeMarcus
Burnham dominated the first 20. Slough dominated the rest. Solid performance helped by 2 superb warro saves.
Mr Rebel
have to agree we scored against the run of play and perhaps we could have been at least 1 down at the time. superb strength chest control and finish from Burnell to slot it away 2nd half Burnham never looked like troubling us. 2nd goal pretty much ended the contest. wonderful strike from Smith from distance other than the last 5 minutes Burnham didn't produce any pressure 2nd half was very routine in the end which is quite a promising thing to be able to say against a team competing at the top of the league 2 big games coming up in the next week (weather permitting) again against teams competing at the top. quietly confident we can get decent outcomes in both COYR!!! Ian
Certainly rode our luck in the first half with a couple of great saves from Warro that were guaranteed goals and a block by Browny that took one shot wide when it was going in. Our confidence grew once we scored the first however and in the second half we could have scored another one or two. Good to beat Burnham for a change. Great performances by several players - I thought Ashley Deeney did well having not played much recently.
PremiershipJoyRider
In view of their recent inactivity I thought the players fitness levels on a heavy pitch was excellent. I thought we dominated the second half except for a Burnham spell near the end. Burnell and Smith seem to have developed a great understanding and must now be the best goal scoring partnership in this league. Looking forward to the Guildford game already. readingrebel
Apart from the first 15/20 minutes I thought we were much the better team with some very good performances from several players with DB, Ed Smith and Jake Parsons the pick of the bunch. Defensively, after an initial nervy start, we looked solid with Browny martialing the back line. Personally, I would like to see someone like Joe Chandiram get a start on the left hand side of mid-field where I thought we were at our weakest with us continually giving the ball away. Excellent win from the boys COYR!!
