What was he up to then mate? Wasn't easy to tell what was causing all the anger on a foggy night like tonight.

He accused Higgs of stamping on him when on the floor, fell over holding his face and screaming like a girl. Even thee fans behind were laughing at him. Ref was staring rite at it from 5 yards away, but It took the Lino from and 30yrds away to raise his flag and give decision.

There skipper was non stop all game trying to wind people up and get people booked or sent off. Honestly don't know how his team mates play with him every game! I would be embarrassed to have him as my captain!!

This was in between insensately telling us how e played for midlesborough and is on so much money at rye. Trying to insult is for the "£30" we pick up a week!! Take that as a compliment seeing as we get paid nothing and have to pay £5 a week to train at the moment!!

As Justin says Park were unlucky tonight to lose with the last kick. They'd done more than enough to take the game to extra time and maybe a replay but it wasn't to be.

Two fairly evenly matched sides, both keepers made good saves but I'd say Park had more possession and in the final 5 minutes, they had 3 or 4 good chances to win the game but Rye get a breakaway and a defensive slip lets them in.

Both sides were down to 10 men by the 66th minute. There were verbals all over the pitch from the first half onwards. I'm not entirely sure what happened with Higgsy as I was about 90 yards away. The lino alerted the ref to something which must have involved Jack. It looked from where I was that the ref had already given him a red when he lost it and punched out at a Rye player because I guess of something he said. Second red to a Rye player for a late tackle about 10 minutes after the first. Bit of a 20 man handbag going on as well.

I think Guernsey should be a match for Rye, only trouble being the pitch. Bit hard to play their usual style on that bog so may have to mix it up a little but I still think Guernsey will come through.

Thanks for coming down Bom, good to see you ... Shame about the result

Eversley 0 v Fleet Spurs 1 (Aldershot Cup). Awful pitch......Awful weather (still trying to warm up).....Awful food......Awful match!!!! Decided by an early second half goal from an error at the back. Fleet probably just shaded it to be fair although must admit I only recognised 3/4 of the Eversley players so not too sure what team they put out as they have some big games coming up looking at their next few fixtures so they may well have chosen to rest a few. However, on the whole I wish I hadn't bothered braving the freezing temperatures!!

Much the same as when we played them in the FA Vase can not play football on that pitch and they have allways been a big strong side and over the top!

Was gonna pop down to this...on that report Chubby glad I didn't lol. Knowing Sav and Eversley tho, if this was a fixture he really wanted to win I'm sure he would have.

From elsewhere a comment on the Dorking v Hanworth Villa game:

After an even opening, the vistors took the lead following a defensive mix-up, and quickly made it 2-0 with a freekick. An attempt to curl it round the wall ended up with it taking a deflection leaving the keeper well beaten. Hanworth then dominated the rest of the game, but struggled to stay onside - a lot of it due to the midfield holding onto the ball for too long. The home #s 5 & 6 also played well. Twenty minutes from time, with all Dorking subs on their keeper got a straight red for a foul. Penalty converted. Dorking finally troubled the Villa keeper in injury time, forcing a save and then converting a penalty for handball with the final kick of the game. Often an entertaining game, but should have been a more comfortable win.

I wasn't there Bom, so can't comment. Busy going through a court brief for this afternoon.

Chris C was there, so he may well be able to elaborate.

That report pretty much summed it up to be honest.

Pitch was OK though still a bit dead. Small crowd (30?). Not too cold. DFC rested several players to the bench. Strange that!

I have never moaned about a sending off but last night was embarrassing the officials were fooled by a cheat a clever cheat so annoying for me !! But we fought hard till the end and had a few decent chances then they nicked it at the death , guernsey will beat them I hope they give them a lesson

There were 9 changes to the team from Saturday's starting line up. As you say,we have some important league games coming up,so we wanted to give some of the squad players some minutes and also minimise the risk of injuries to key players.

Daniel had to laugh ;) Savo told me Saturday they were missing 6 players then. You must have a very big squad,is all I can say.The best goalkeeper in DIV 1 never played then Shells, along with Willo,Foxy,Baker,Blocko. An old saying Never kid a kidder, never Con a Conner must be the Boars new motto. As for Dorking resting Players why, their last chance of Silverware gone.An old saying Never change a WINNING TEAM.resting them for Guernsey?APRIL is a long way off ;)
