The free-kick just outside the area in a central position is blasted well over by Jordace Holder-Spooner.

Ian_W
GOAL - AFC Hornchurch 1 Basingstoke Town 0 - Jay Gasson (OG) 47min A free-kick is given against Nathan Smart in the right-back area and it's a brilliant ball in by Andy Tomlinson. Under pressure, Gasson reaches the ball first but he is only able to redirect it into his own net.

cup of tea
I think that Basingstoke had the better of the initial exchanges but it was even at the end of the half. Second half, as soon as the first goal went in, their heads seem to drop and we were easily the better team. Great performances all over the pitch today and a useful home win - well deserved. cup of tea
Just had a look at the league table on here. Are we really up to 12th? If we are, it just shows you how tight this league is
aka PeteBeatz
There must have been a hairdryer moment a half time as we came out a different team second half and gave a great performance, and are now 13th in a very competitive league.
