blue balls
If there were 217 there I'm a monkey's uncle! Probably the most unispiring ground I have visited!
Dutch_Mike
One-sided match report. Pretty even first half, thought we just shaded it on the whole. Not too sure where they got the idea that they created 'numerous chances', or whatever their terminology was. The conditions were tough: strong wind, appalling pitch, and we tried to play too much pretty football at times, for me. Thought the game was crying out for Rook to come on, and for us to go more direct. There is a time and place to get the ball on the deck; unfortunately, unless your first touch is perfect, Saturday was not that time. Whitehawk are a decent team, pretty solid - the sort of team who normally succeeds in this division. But certainly nothing to be afraid of. Now CK has had a first-hand look at them, I reckon we'll beat them next time round
Coffin Ender
Rumour was January 8 rematch. Don't know how true that is...
Gerald Threegoals
Yes their report was very biased - the reports on MargateFC.com are much more balanced. They just about had the edge over the 50 mins. played, but there was every chance that we would come back at them and get a result. I was impressed with Alex Rhodes enthusiasm - being the only sub braving the lashing rain at half-time whilst everyone else took shelter; hope that counts for something in the future. Awful ground - makes Hartsdown look like Wembley (allright, maybe the old Wembley, after ther demolished it!).
