dannyriding
Just heard on the news that they have made it through to the next round of the FA Cup - always good to see a Non-League club doing well in this challenge and I personally hope they do well

Cookie
I'm amazed as to how teams improve their game in the FA CUP. One of the worst teams to have visited Hartsdown this season i.m.o.but they have knuckled down to it in the Cup and have been rewarded for their efforts. Im still in shock as to how they have got this far but yes, good luck to them. They will get a tonking up at Middlesbro thats for sure but they will come away a lot richer whatever the score, but what a great day out for the club, players and fans. If they can pull of a shock there, well!! Miracles do "sometimes happen but I think this will be the end of the road for them but what a way to go out of the Cup. Am extremely envious of them. (I'd like to be their opponents in the league leading up to the tie)
Tesco Bazza
And they had over 4000 at the game last night, we can only dream of having a tenth of that! Shows what a cup run can do. That cup exit v slough still rangles!!
Coffin Ender
Would not surprise me if Hastings try to tempt one or two of our players with some of their new-found wealth.
Jab_n17
trouble is after a good cup run (and btw well done to them) league form falls below par, look at Dover a seasons ago, so yes I think a few new players will be brought in....BUT KEEP AWAY FROM OUR SQUAD or there be another Battle of Hastings in 2013....... keep the money for when times get hard or help out with funding to re-build the pier is the way forward
michael
well i will make public my bitter and twisted side -and whilst i love to see non league teams progress in the best competition in the world-i make exceptions to any local club or team in the same league(hastings) . It makes the task tougher for MFC in 201314 as hastings should have funds to help them with a promotion push-and indeed secured teir future for the next 10 years. this seaons prize money funds the following season's promotion push (wealdstone this season for example who took a fair amount of cup prize money last saeson )-failed again at MFC and makes it tougher next year. signed- jealous/envios and bitter
vic pain lives!
I DON'T CARE ABOUT HASTINGS PROMOTION PUSH NEXT SEASON WE WONT BE IN THE SAME LEAGUE.
michael
You may be right VPL but with only two going down, and a bit of money-i don't think hastings will be relegated to ryman south this season
vic pain lives!
I hope there not otherwise we'll be two divisions apart next season.
