Beleive me, I will be ecstatic if Dougie scores Hat trick. The point is just that though 'if'. We have been saying this right from the start. I can only judge him from the performances that I have seen and thus he has been poor.

Bradley Allen can and has played up front for QPR etc so I think he could be in with a shout. The boss likes Dougie and as much as we moan about him not scoring goals he does a good job and the goals WILL come. As for Vinnie John I'm suprised he even got mentioned in this topic as he has been absolutely awesome this season (although also light on goals - probably doing creative stuff like knock downs perhaps?????????)

Vinny hasn't only scored 1 more than Dougy this season, he's scored double the amount that Dougy has scored. "4".

 

If Dougy gets a hatrick, everyone will be happy, and as Raver says we can only judge him on what we've seen, and at the moment it aint that good. Maybe he's just going through a bad patch and his luck will change.

 

I support Dougy at the games, and really hopes he does well, but at the moment i feel he aint up to scratch.

UrchinBoys, how can you be so sure that the goals WILL come? Again, we can't keep on saying that. Stick him in the Capital League where if he is any good at all should score a few goals and get his confidence up. Failure to even do that will again just show that he isn't quite good enough. You may argue that he scored goals for Hitchin but you can't keep living off the past. Its the present and the future that is important.

I'd have thought that Douglas will start again tomorrow, with Vinny out, Keeling, according to the Recorder doubtful for tomorrow, the team could quite easily start with Taffy, Dougie and Bradley Allen up front.

I'd love the fella to score goals, as that would be for the good of the team as well as himself. At the moment though I just can't see where they are coming from! At the moment he just doesn't seem up to it!
