Winslow Boy
Before that I remember it being Minerva, the match balls were like cannon balls.
Rhodes
Why can't the Leage simply find a half decent sponsor who ploughs in a sizeable sum of money every season rather than peanuts and a few footballs to each Club.
syd_lexic
Because believe or not there's a recession on & businesses are being a bit careful with their money. The ESL hasn't had a sponsor for 7 or 8 years & Ridgeons have ended their dealings with the Eastern Counties, so the fact that there's been a sponsor itself for that time is an achievement. thecoldend
Rhodes, What makes you think there is not a recession on? Not having a go but I just wondered... Pubs are shutting at an alarming rate as people can't afford to have a night out. Businesses are struggling. It's tough out there at the moment.
