Windsor Rebel
Sadly, the best pub in Cherstsey (The Thyme At The Tavern) is not open till 4 PM on a Saturday. However, like all good management teams I have a plan B (where have I heard that before?). Meet at the Coach and Horses, 14, St Annss Road, Chertsey KT16 9DG. This is a nice cosy locals pub and the closest to the ground. In fact it so close to the ground that you could catch the ball as one of Chertsey's strikers blasts it over the bar while trying for their late consolation goal (insert smiley face here). 1.30 pm onwards. camra rebel
Nigel, its a good job we have you as tall striker option with you being able to reach the top of bar.... so we don't have to rely on the short option of Alan and Dave
Ian
My overriding memory from the game last year was that it was a nightmare finding anywhere to park so you have been warned! It was a strange game last year with lots of contrasts - a torrential downpour before kickoff which was so heavy I thought the game would be called off but by half-time it was scorching and we were in shirt sleeves. Chertsey went 2-0 up before we started playing and we then scored five if memory serves.
