A Rebel and a Saint
In the second half of extra time, it's 1-0 Slough, coming from an own goal early in the first period of extra time. No real indication of how we are playing as the updates are only giving Aylesbury's chances (and there seems to have been quite a lot of them). Jackson, A Deeney, Murphy, Bateman, Haase, Woozley, Sinclair, Logie, Vassell, Sonner, Burgess. Subs: Marfo, Brown, Parsons, Rhone, Swift.
Stuntman Mark
Fair play to any Rebels who made it over there last night! And well done to Jacko whose glacial crawl to 100 caps for Slough suddenly gathered pace. Only 9 to go now according to the website and if the big man can avoid any more unfortunate accidents outside local curry houses he's might finally get there in about 2016. Ian
I think Jacko is in the Guinness Book of Records for signing with the Rebels on 78 separate occasions! As long as he's there for our first game at Arbour Vale
Nathan
Jacko I thought was MOTM last night for making several good saves! Some of the finishing last night was utterly woeful, and if I didn't know better I'd have said they were trying to miss!
HEAVY TRUCKER
while i wish the team every success i cannot help feeling that it would have been better for us not to have been successful last night.
Nathan
And miss out on a glamour tie with AFC Hayes? Who wouldn't want that?
readingrebel
And miss out on a glamour tie with AFC Hayes? Who wouldn't want that? Look on the positive side Nathan. It gives some fringe players the chance to get match fit. Win the game against AFC Hayes and we are in the quarter finals, two games away from the final.
