Frimley 1-2 Lammas

 

As much as a good result this is its also a very frustrating one. Reason being we will always turn up and play our better football against the big boys but will then go and lose too one of the lower teams. I look across the team and see ya Rideouts, Baxters and Enricos and we should be challenging for this league! Ahh!! Anyway having played Frimley earlier in the season with Knaphill I know how decent they are and tonight they had an off game which teams do. For me they missed Meps up too massively but overall I think we deserved to win the game fully. Enrico and Lewis up top were superb for us and the Frimley defence struggled with them. There keeper made some decent saves to keep the score down too. We weren't really troubled at the back really apart from one time when our keeper shanked a goal kick too their striker who rounded our keeper only too out it wide!! We went one up threw Ben Jacob after a great move. They then equalised when a Freekick from outwide flew into the top corner!! We nicked it with 15 too go when Shane Rideout teasing Freekick found the bottom corner!! Obviously were well out of the race now and the new management are starting to rebuild for next season by bringing in new faces and hopefully will can have a good second half of the season and some cup runs too. Frimley for me will still win this league as their too strong up top!!

Great display tonight some good football played!!! Got to mention the display by Lazza 4 goals, also good to see Kane get his first goal. I know it's been said before but Mick has done a great job getting these lads together and results like tonight are proof of this!!!
