GG, you will not be able to gain full access to the castle that day as 'HM' is in residence over Easter so many of the state rooms that are normally open will be closed then. Havng said that there's still enough to see to take you up to a 1pm kick off including the changing of the guard at about 11 am. If you have a young family Legoland is a 15 minute walk from the ground [there is a Lego shuttle bus service that stops outside the ground as well]. We've also chosen this fixture as our annual 'charity' day which means free entry for everyone but a donation in the collection buckets [whilst not compulsory] is requested. Final details have yet to be arranged but we try to make it a family day so if you bring the kids along there'll be stuff to keep them occupied as well !

A bus made from Lego ?

I'd rather walk !!!

Richard, have you never been to Whyteleafe? The ground sits in a Valley, surrounded by Large Tall trees on one side, and a large Stand behind one goal.Fridays overnight frost was the heaviest so far this season, which followed on from a frost the previous night. The Sun does not reach certain areas of the pitch until midday at the earliest.Your post infers Whyteleafe are being protectionist,as with all inspections this would of been carried out by a Qualified Referee, would you of had this view,if he had passed it fit, then the game got called off.Did not see you post about the South Kilburn game that got called off 15mins before kick off time,by the late arriving Ref.Be consistent is my point.

Yes I've been to Whyteleafe frequently. It is a cold ground. But so is Chipstead and the ref there didn't make any rash decisions on Saturday, he just assumed what everyone else was thinking, which was that it would thaw later, so no early decision was made. Heavy frost means nothing at all if the temperature is getting up to four or five, which was forecast, and it happened. If the forecast was zero all day then maybe they have a case.

Everyone else played. I rest my case.

And to respond on your other point, I would ALWAYS try to get a game done, even if it means a late postponement occasionally. I've said that before and I am very consistent on that point.

It would of been a good case to rest if you had said the same thing regards other Teams.

Guernsey v Epsom and Ewell, Postponed, everyone else played bar Epsom Athletic.

Guernsey v South Park,Postponed everyone else played.

Not a peep out of you

Its already happened Bom.I honestly think that if things had been done properly then they could of been in the mix come the end of the season and who knows maybe promoted (Chertsey dit it ), then there wouldn't have been any talk of a bottom half finish,I think they have missed a trick and who knows it could put the club back years.

Right Duncs let see if I can make it clear.

I can see what is happening but as I have asked and asked and asked what can or should I do about it ?

What's the worst that can happen Camberley, Duncs? They aren't going to go down this season. I admit it's not where they usually are (top 6) but so what?

Sadly Bomy, it is where we usually are. We have a long and proud history of doing nothing very much at all with the occasional blip. It's only since we've been in the CCL that we've been one of the better teams. Before that we finished bottom of various leagues quite a few times.

Our finishing positions/number of teams in the division since I've been watching the club taken from Richard's FCHD website -http://www.fchd.info/CAMBERLT.HTM

And Krooner - I'll tell you what you can do - win the lottery.

Well exactly VP. It was the last 5 or so seasons I was referring to. I always think it's pretty pointless looking back further than that when talking of recent history (take note Arsenal/Liverpool fans ;) ) for various reasons.

Even in the darkest seasons there are highlights. One league win all season in 1990-91. I can still remember it. At home to Cove. Chick Botley was their manager at the time. If we could have chosen the one team to beat that season it would have been Cove.

This season we've beaten Guernsey. That'll probably be the highlight I'll remember from this season for the next 20 years. It's still the only time they've failed to score in a match (granted they needed extra-time to score against CWU last season). Happy days.

Duncs could take a leaf out of your book there VP. You answered the question. Mind you he is probably too busy doing anything but rebuilding at Sandhurst ;)

Don't insult my intelligence Smudge. Games postpomed due to waterlogging some 100 miles away from here are feasible if it has chucked it down there but not here. Which it had. We at Epsom had no complaints about the decision as we'd seen the rain forecast and it was very heavy. South Park probably had the chance to see the pitch for themselves. I have heard no complaints from them either.

They are completely different to a game postponed too early for a frozen pitch when the forecast was for a thaw only a few miles away from other games that were played.

If you want to have sensible discussions with me in future, please apply a bit of common sense to your argument.
