Just watched the highlights [several times] and my initial thoughts were correct in that there were two defenders side by side therefore he was NOT the last man and cannot logically have denied a goalscoring attempt as the other defender may have won the ball !

 

In that case we'll have to agree to disagree, both safe in the knowledge that we were right. I'll let others make their own minds up.

Either way, from the highlights there were certainly 2 of 3 goal of the month / season contenders (best of which was obviously the Windsor 2nd) in what looked a pretty good game.

In regards to yesterday good game I enjoyed it physical game with a lot of bickering, at the end of the day I was captain yesterday and a few challenges were synical however hand on heart all I said to the ref is " you have a decision to make? " I like Westfield I think they r a quality team with a top manager in John n they will do well this year and wish them the best... Ground and facilities are great and had a real battle with a real old fashioned centre half and I'm sure he will wake up sore cause believe me I have!!!

FACTS.

 

Terrys remarks to the Lady where never heard by me,as I was 20yds away,the first I knew about it was after you slapped Terry round the Face twice.Remarking you do not talk to Women like that,the Ref never heard his remarks either.Terry was sent off,for a terrible tackle moments later,then the Linesman flagged for your Assault for which you only received a Yellow.By this time Terry was on his way to the Dressing Room.I Enquired as to what Terry had said and to whom,on being told of his remarks,I personally went to speak to the Lady and her Husband,who were sitting in the stand and apologised for his behaviour.,which was accepted.Terry then came out of the Dressing Room,and without any Peer Pressure from anyone Apologised to the Lady for his behaviour.I was ashamed of Terry's behaviour,and told him so,in no uncertain terms.Mr. Page,can I ask you,why you assaulted my Grandson,and took the law into your own hands.Why would you need to apologise to me and Terry,as by the way you have written this,you had nothing to apologise for or did you?Think you may of got the hump with me for my comments during the game after the incident.Was shocked though that being the Good Friend you are supposed to be,you never offered me a lift home,but then you raise that old chesnut of me liking a drink,and you were not going to hang around for me,well Mr. Page you never asked.Thanks to Mr. Reed (yes an old foe of mine)who kindly gave me a lift to the Station,I made it home safely by Train.Then you defend yourself further, by me criticising and pissing people off on here,The thing is my comments on here are what I believe,many turn out to be Fact,if people don't like them, do not read them .Hope your Goal Drought ends soon!!!!!

Like I said duncs you wouldnt answer the question. What can I do Duncs ? 3rd time I have asked and lets see if that illicits a response that actually shows me the light.

Terry being a friend of mine a long time friend at that upset me based upon his behaviour that's why I was so upset at the fact it was out of character for anything I have ever witnessed from him.... Assault?!? Slap?!? That is laughable as all I did was push him and tell him he was out of order for what he said.... Seeing as u was 20yards away and never heard his comments to the female funny u was able to see me apparently assault him seems u select what u wanna see or hear... I apologised for reacting the way I did admittedly although in hindsight I actually don't know why I apologised to u after u decided to call me big time and two bob which is neither here nor there.

Anyways as previously mentioned that was a while ago and as far as I'm concerned put to bed. Any future messages in relation feel free to pm me cause I'm sure this is getting extremely boring to read for everyone else

Oh lastly I'm glad u got home safely, as I never drove that day hense no lift offer.

You made the first statement,not me.Part of it aquits you of any blame,like the Lady paying your fine,the Refs comments in sympathy.Then you say it was a Push,well whilst I do not agree that was all you did.Surely your training in your new job,will inform you that even pushing someone is Common Assault.You took it upon yourself to be the Law,in an instant.Now when you are trained up,wearing the uniform,you will be ok,out on the streets.As I from experience have seen how the Police Act,all BBB,BigBullyBoys,a bit like yourself.Cannot PM you,as I do not have the facility on here.

Pete it was me driving that day and as you well know I drive a van that has 2 seats and was me and Pagey in the van that day had you been as vocal when I was in the clubhouse to ask me for lift then you would have known this but rather than asking like most would you waited for us to go and decided to complain for a change about not being offered so in future maybe you should ask the question and find out the answer rather than being 2 faced and complaining once I've gone home, other than that hope your having a splendid night

Can anyone tell me what everyone thinks we're doing wrong?.

 

We have a management TEAM who we rotate as being in the technical area, due to only 2 being permitted to stand. Generally we name 3 from 4 of our team as technical area occupants, now even if you all believe the one outside the technical area to be THE 'manager' which as I have stated is not the case and he is not named as a matchday official on that day  (ie as a technical occupant) he can surely stand where he likes around the pitch, yes!?

 

That is in a nutshell what you all appear to be complaining about, but as I started but saying, what rule(s) are we breaking...

After watching your footage, I believe the challenge to be worthy of at least a booking. at the time of the incident I did think it was an awful challenge. If the player had been booked at that stage then he may not have committed as many fouls later on in the game as we all know players are more conscious after they have been cautioned.
