Eversley 2-2 Feltham

 

Very physical game today that was spoilt by the man in the middle who just gave so many indecisive and diabolicle free kicks, bookings and just about everything else. Credit to him after the game though as he stuck around and answered questions.

 

Eversley threw everything and the kitchen sink at us but wasted chance after chance and found Thomas in goal for Feltham on fine form today pulling off save after save. Two goals from El-Bakali was enough to nick a point away from home. This was a huge point for us with no striker in the squad and we dug deep and did well..

well sort of mate it's just the work thing that is a problem for me,I have been helping all season but have not made all of the games..I'm almost scared to say it but I will, I see your lads lost again, seriously you seem stuck in a rut even though you are only getting beaten by the odd goal its what happens when you are in the bottom 6 or 7

 

Well I would suspect you need to concentrate on getting them out of the relegation mire before commenting on other clubs Duncs.

Westfield 2-2 Mole Valley SCR

 

Good first half from us and scored a great goal. Should have added a couple more but wasnt to be

2nd half MV pushed Pagey further up top and caused us problems. That being said our centre back was magnificent against him for the 2nd time this season. 2 goals turned the game around but credit to the lads they battled in and got a deserved equaliser when Shep smashed home a volley from the edge of the box.

 

As for the tackle in the first half being cynical. Thats laughable if anthing our player nicked the ball. I do like Darren the MV manager but he shouldnt be allowed to roam the opposite touchline shouting and screaming at refs decesions. In my opinion your first goal was never a free kick but such is life and we just have to deal with it. Maybe it was Karma as your players constantly ran 20 /30 yards to crowd the ref when demanding a booking. That includes you Pagey - wonderful player - nice lad but surely you must have been embarassed when you literally sprinted accross the pitch before putting your hands behind your back and approaching the ref like Liam Gallagher does a microphone asking the ref to book our player after the free kick had been given.

GuernseyGeordie - all true with the bookies! None of us could believe they had Ben Harris at 13/2 for first goal and I think the bookie was a little shocked with all of the bets placed one after the other! Although he was in probably more shock when Ben rifled home in the first minute!

 

A great day out today thought the fifth goal deep in injury time gave the shoreline a bit of unfair reflection. 4-2 would have been about right.

Ash went one up just on haltime, but Wembley levelled minutes into the 2nd with a good strike. Wembley took the lead before we equalised inside the last five minutes, so on reflections a fair result.

 

Your young understudy today Pearcey had an excellent game. Made several good saves & brave ones, needs to improve on his kicking though

He denied a clear goalscoring opportunity. It was a red I'm afraid.

 

Just watched the highlights [several times] and my initial thoughts were correct in that there were two defenders side by side therefore he was NOT the last man and cannot logically have denied a goalscoring attempt as the other defender may have won the ball !
