marksandwell
Don't know what to think, is this to replace ones that have left, or ones that are to leave. Do we need the back topped up discuss!!!!!
Cookie
Was actually thinking this morning that the club must be finding things very difficult financially and was feeling slightly concerned within me about this, then I read we have signed another player. If we can afford it then great but can we afford to sign anyone?.Not sure a defender was a major requirement either as I thought we had a good set of them with plenty of back-up.In normal circumstances any player with proven ability signed on would go down well with me. As you say we surely will need to offload in order to be able to afford another signing I would have thought. I just hope its not at the expense of one of my favourites who I still rate as a mega player given the opportunities. Having said all that the club know what they are doing so welcome to "Scarbs" Hope you can help us in our fight for promotion. Been reading about "scarbs" and he does seem to be a popular player amongst his old clubs.34 years of age but with plenty of experience behind him. Might need a while to get fit I would have thought but if he does that he will help us I'm sure. One of those clubs he was once with was Hampton & Richmond if I am correct. Who do we play on Saturday?...Hampton & Richmond!
Wellsie
There are a number of ways / arrangements on which a player player will be signed, which of course will remain confidential. Rest assured that notwithstanding the current situation with the club's sponsors, the directors are doing everything they can to ensure the continued support of the manager and the squad, particularly given the club's position in the league. hangthedj
A shrewd signing in my opinion, tonnes of experience in the league above and comes highly rated from his previous clubs. He dominated against us a few years back whilst playing for Sutton.

Wellsie
Completely understand why you asked the question Tony.
michael
AS posted above- i similarly think that experience begins to count for more as you go into the winter months and second half of season-so again-as posted above-shrewd i reckon. That given-whilst in stubbs.corneille, avery and bodkin we have a decent midfield-i would love to see a similarly experienced shrewd canny fighting additional midfielder signed.
