7.2. It was intimated that Amersham Town had been fined £500 by the Football Association and removed from the FA Vase competition for three seasons for playing two ineligible players in their Second Round tie against Rye United on 17 November and for submitting an incorrect team sheet and match report form.

 

7.3. As a result of the FA investigation outlined in the above minute (7.2), the League reviewed results sheets Amersham Town had submitted for League matches. The club had subsequently admitted playing an ineligible player against Langford on 3 November and against Kentish Town on 20 November. It was agreed that the club be charged accordingly and also with falsifying result and team sheets.

 

The SSML have taken action as you can see, they can only take action with regards to the two counts of falsifying SSML result sheets and no doubt Amersham Town have been informed on their punishment. I would suspect the loss of the point obtained against Langford along with a heavy fine (the rulebook states - 8.11.1 incomplete/incorrect £25 fine however the Management Committee have the digression to increase fines for persistent breaches of rules)

 

As to the club's management position the League have no control over personnel unless that person is suspended either by the FA or their County FA.

Name one instance where a premier league manager has fielded ineligable players then made comments lying about it.

Well that wasn't what we were all talking about, so you dont see premier managers making the comments we were discussing as you said in your post. So your comment is even more absurd than it first appeared. No one can be as thick as you make yourself look

4.2. As reported in last month’s minutes (7.3), following the FA investigation, the League had reviewed results sheets Amersham had submitted for League matches. The committee said they took a very serious view of such conduct and under Rule 6.9 imposed a total fine of £850 on Amersham with £500 suspended for a further three seasons until the end of 2015-16. In respect of the drawn match against Langford one point was deducted from the club’s record after their opponents indicated that they did not want to replay the game. The committee also imposed a further 6 penalty points deduction on Amersham – three points for each match.
