Theres quite a few rough diamonds playing in the ESL. Ex Stansted striker Dwight Gale, now at D&R and on trial/loan at Peterborough is a good example.

I don't think it's up to any of us supporters to decide what is and what isn't breaking the bank. There's also a lot more to player selection that what you are suggesting. When you have a limited budget you have to get players that you know are going to give their all together. And anyway, at 3-0 down at half time the strikers were not the issue last night.
