michael
Inpart time leagues-is it a fact that the home side wins a higher percentage of home games midweek than on saturday's ? Could a postponement favour us slightly more? Anything to improve our chances !! If only we could'not concede the nil'tomorrow. Wealdstone in my eyes now favourites to win the league. I have a very simple philosophy-which is usually correct-the team with the best defence wins the league-and guess what-wealdstone currently have the fewest goals against(athough early in season-hampton hardly conceded at all ) strikers win you games-defences win you the championship Up the 'Gate

SteveB
Hope not CE, that happened a few seasons ago against same side and caused a few problems. Was that the one where it absolutely lashed down for about 20 minutes, the game got called off about 30 minutes before kick-off and then the rest of the afternoon was fine? To be fair an advertising board was ripped free by the wind and tossed the full length of the pitch in some kind of terrifying apocalyptic scenario. Though, as you say, the rest of the afternoon was fine. Whatever decision the ref ultimately makes today he will be criticised, probably by me. SteveB
Not windy here today though and only lightly raining. However, it has just got decidedly darker out there.
I am Spartacus
According to Wealdstone there was a pitch inspection at 11.30 and the pitch was passed fit to play.
SteveB
Surprised that there was an inspection. Been raining steadily but not heavily. Still looks like some worse stuff is heading our way though.
SteveB
Apparently ref is due to have another look at the pitch soon.
