Captured all the goals on my mobile phone (except Maidenhead's second). In anticipation of the inevitable huge demand, I don't know if you'd be interested in editing them Gary?

Typical "not bothered about the B&B" performance from all the players, with the exception of James Warrington. Disappointed in that respect, but likewise can't say I'm in tears at being out of it. At least we can concentrate on the league now!

Not a good performance, though the second half was better. Good to give the fringe players a run out but there was a definite difference between the two teams. First half especially we gave them far too much space on the wings and didn't really seem to have a formation, second half we tightened up a bit and the penality was well taken by Logie who just smashed it past the keeper.

Not really an important competition for us so not too disappointed to go out. Don't see why we can't give the league cup a decent go though, we have shown that on our day we can beat anyone from the level above so why not?

Was genuinely shocked to see how low Maidenhead's average attendances are. We could probably get more than that if we moved back to Slough, and they aren't much bigger crowds than what we get at Beaconsfield!

All of the above is precisely the reason I won't go to B&B or League Cup games!

Put the gate money you're saving to the £100 you'll owe me at the end of the season.

In my humble opinion if spectators are paying good money to watch then the players should be trying-after all it was the only cup/medal they are likely to receive this season. Also that is how inconsistancy occurs in teams, when they deem one match not as important as others.

Yeah cracking point hotspur. I mean putting our all into last night would have helped us win the league at the end of the season. We've been playing Saturday Tuesday for a few weeks already and look likely to be doing the same all the way up to Christmas due to our excellent fa cup run. At any level of football certain matches/competitions have to take a back seat for the benefit of the main prize; in our case the league. We have another Mickey Mouse cup next week where I'm informed 7 players who have started the previous 2 league games must start, in doing so putting key players at risk of injury in what is, unfortunately, a meaningless match in the grand scheme of things. I'm sure Steve bateman and the players who played last night would have loved to win but this desire will always be tempered by the need to give squad players a chance and young players a try out.

We changed the front two and fielded a whole new midfield. It was a good run out - end of. That cup is so far down our list of priorities it is untrue. It is given ridiculous precedence and I only went out of a sense of loyalty to the players - they deserve our support after their efforts this season and it is only down the road.

There were plenty of positives - Fraser had an excellent game in central midfield, Kwasi Marfo showed some good skills, pace and an ability to take players on and players outside the team at the moment like Sincs and Sonner built up their match fitness for when they will be called upon later in the season.
