FA Vase/Rye lodge complaint to FA

Recommended Posts

So 5 SSML sides go into tomorrow's draw at the last 64 stage.

Obviously I am biased towards Ampthill and hope the draw is kind to us, but well done too to Dunstable Town, Oxhey Jets and Hertford Town.

Guess the surprise package is Amersham Town, below mid table in Division 1 they have done well to reach this stage, irrespective of the standard of opposition they may have faced to date.

Good luck to all 5 tomorrow in the draw

Is it national at this stage? And yes we'll done to all 5 clubs but what an Achievement for Amersham as you say. Even sides doing well in Div 1 rarely reach that stage

Ampthill Town v Hertford Town

At least Ampthill Town aren't going into the unknown like they have done in the past against the likes of Lancing, Oadby Town and Diss Town

Rye United have lodged a complaint with the FA. All very vague though.

Can only think they reckon an ineligable player was fielded, but how would they know. Be interesting to see what comes of it and whether its just sour grapes. They obviously going for the tie to be overturned as they have paid an appeal fre

Winslow Boy - How did you manage to find that article, as you say it has to be for an ineligible player

As KB says it was Scottie and I can only think that could be it it's not like they can overturn a tie for foul and abusive behaviour or violent conduct etc which would be other reasons to report a club. Maybe the sarnie a at full time were shite hahaha Ameraham have done very well hope it isn't taken off them without very very good reason
