Great news that the Coffin end is going to have,at long last, a terrace built down there. We the supporters have been asking for this for ages but have always got the knock back because of the development pending.

To know that development or no development this is now to be done is a major thing i.m.o It will encourage more turn up I'm sure of it. If it were to be covered, which to me is the MAIN and more important requirement then this would increase interest and attendances by even more.

We really do need it covered down there for the bigger improvement in attendances to be seen.

The way I read it that would only happen if we were promoted to expand our capacity to meet the B grading for Conf South.

Oh yes maybe I misinterpreted that then. Shame,as it would be a big thing to have had it done THIS season. The sooner the better for increased attendances...THIS season!.

The work to meet the ground grading has to be done by the March after promotion, which is sensible really as in the past teams had to spend money on building work before they had even been promoted.

If the pitch is not being turned then are we back to the discussion that this could be the start of the building of the new ground and then someone says "no it's a separate thing and will have to be taken down when they eventually start the whole new ground process off" (which a lot of people think will never happen)

To be honest, some of us think the club should have tried to improve the ground piecemeal, one side at a time, all those years ago. The problem now is Gary Lever will surely require a return on his investment. Even if the new ground is built and if it is a success, how much of the extra income will the club see?
